The clubs trading is slighty down compared to the same period 2025, but up on 2024 levels. The last week of April was unusually poor but trading has climbed to reasonable levels for the time of year with the summer seasons commencing for skittles, darts and eucher, also boosted by the poker team, a party held at the venue organised by Mr J Keirle and a succesfull 1st quiz night held on 31/05/2026.

A push to try and increase the weekly take with ideas to increase footfall was asked for, committee and members all welcome to propose ideas. 

No changes to report.

Mr E Boydell has decided to step down as the clubs chairman and retire from the committee, Mr D Hook has also decided to step down as the clubs treasurer & secretary. The club would like to thank them for their contributions.

Mr G Stabbins was proposed to become the clubs new chairman, this was voted and passed. Mr S Andrews will take on the clubs treasurer and secretary roles.

With the success of our first quiz night, the club will be holding another on 28/06/2026 and would like to thank Mr R Gardner for his efforts as quiz master for the event and would also would like to thank staff and volenteers that helped the evening run smoothly.

A person known as "Mike D" was asked to leave the premises by bar staff & poker team/management on 22/05/2026 for repetative aggressive behaviour. The committee stands by the decision made and the mentioned person is now unwelcome to return to the premises.

Mr JC Compton to ask Mr L Brett if the club is able to use the back car park for its annual Summer BBQ. Mr R Higgs has offered the club use of his BBQ for the event.
